What a great campout!! I am really impressed at how well these boys functioned as a team. We had members from the Coyote and Cobra patrols who decided to work together to make the one shelter. They picked the location, gathered the necessary materials, and made it all happen. After that, they played a little fox and hound. Everybody then began gathering wood for the fire. In the process we cleared part of the trail from the church to the Scout Hut. Riley Haney was our Firemaster. He built the fire for Saturday night and maintained it once it was going. The boys slept in the shelter that they had built earlier that day, no tents were used for this campout. Temperature in the morning was in the 20's. They definately earned some bragging rights on this one! Sunday morning's service project was parking cars for Pinnacle Church. After which the boys went in to the church and sat together as a troop for that morning's worship service. Thank you to everyone who made this possible!
